WCO - Worst Case Operation

WCO is a powerful analysis tool that calculates and displays worst-case operating conditions. A special Worst-Case operation algorithm is minimizing/maximizing performances for lower/upper specification.

Performing a Worst-Case Operation

When a new Worst-Case Operation node has been appended to the History, the user can define specifications in the column "Specification Type" of the main window: Feature Examples contain:
  • Lower Worst-case operating conditions are determined for a lower specification.
  • Upper Worst-case operating conditions are determined for an upper specification.
  • Both Worst-case operating conditions are determined for both, lower and upper specifications.
  • None Determination of worst-case operating conditions for this performance is skipped.

After the optimization has been run, the worst-case operating parameter values together with the performance values at the worst-cases are displayed in the columns "Lower Worst-Case" and "Upper Worst-Case".
A simulation with the corresponding worst-case operating parameter set can be viewed or appended to the History.
