SCG - Parameter Screening
With SCG the circuit designer can filter during the design analysis and optimization process parameters with large and low influence on the performances and constraints. This can significantly reduce required simulation efforts.

Four Modes of Operation
Automatic and manual parameter selection can be used interchangeably. As one can manually select or deselect parameters for screening and increase or decrease the slider threshold there are four modes of operation:
- Manually selected parameters remain selected, if the slider threshold is increased.
- Manually selected parameter will be deselected, if the slider threshold is decreased below the absolute value of their maximum relative influence.
- Manually deselected parameters remain deselected, if the slider threshold is decreased.
- Manually deselected parameters will be selected if the slider threshold is increased above the absolute value of their maximum relative influence.
