NOD - Nominal Diagnosis

NOD enables the user to perform powerful analyses based on typical (nominal) process characteristics. The designer gets insight into dependencies between performances and parameters with very small simulation effort.

Matrix & Star: Parameter Redundancy & Performance Dependency

Matrix/Star changes between the two kinds of representation of parameter redundancies and performance dependencies:

MATRIX represents redundancies/dependencies as a matrix. Due to the symmetry of the matrix, coefficients are shown as numbers in the lower left triangle of the matrix and their graphical representation in form of gauges in the upper right triangle. The filling of the gauges corresponds to the magnitude of redundancy or dependency. Green indicates positive influence, and red indicates negative influence.

STAR displays redundancies/dependencies as a star chart. The thickness of the connecting lines corresponds to the magnitude of redundancy or dependency. Green indicates positive influence, and red indicates negative influence. The exact value of a coefficient can be obtained by clicking on the line with the left mouse button.
