FEA - Feasibility Optimization

FEA enables the circuit designer to automatically optimize the operating point of its design to fulfil all electrical/geometrical constraints. A feasible design represents a first step towards successful circuit optimization.

Number of iterations defines the maximum number of iterations for the chosen optimization algorithm. Each iteration consists of a Sensitivity Analysis and an optional line search. The effort to determine a feasible design grows linearly with the number of parameters. Before starting the optimization, the parameters that are subject to changes in order to obtain a feasible solution can be selected, thereby reducing the simulation effort.
