With a Deterministic Nominal Optimization the circuit is sized such that - under influence of the operating parameters - the given specifications are met. The result of a Deterministic Nominal Optimization is also feasible, i.e. all constraints are fulfilled. The process variations are not taken into account. The goal is to get a good starting point for the simulation intensive Yield Optimization.
