WiCkeD fully integrated into Mentor Graphics IC Design & Simulation Tools

WiCkeD^TM is seamlessly integrated into Mentor Graphics^® IC Design Flow including DA-IC Design Architect IC^® & IC Studio^® and has a tight interface with Mentor Graphics Eldo^®, EldoRF^®, ADiT^® ADvanceMS^® simulators.

WiCkeD Interface to Mentor Graphics Design Architect IC & IC Studio

WiCkeD can be started directly from the Design Architect IC Schematic Capture tool both in ICStudio and classic mode with fully automated annotation of the design data from and back-annotation to schematic & netlist. The Eldo netlist will be automatically passed to WiCkeD.

WiCkeD directly annotates the design and hierarchy data from the DA-IC schematic editor followed by a fully automatic parameterization of schematic and netlist design parameters as well as constraint setup and editing. Specifications for circuit analysis and optimization can be easily entered in the WiCkeD Constraint Editor.

Parameterized devices and instances can be highlighted and selected from WiCkeD directly in the schematic editor. The technology setup (nominal, corner, mismatch, global statistics) will be done automatically from the pdk using a technology based configuration file.

Using WiCkeD’s MTB multi-testbench environment it is also possible to use the Mentor Graphics DA-IC with multi-testbench design & sizing applications.

WiCkeD Interface to Mentor Graphics simulation environment

WiCkeD fully supports Mentor Graphics industry standard simulators like Eldo, EldoRF, ADiT, ADvanceMS both stand-alone and from Mentor Graphics DA-IC and IC Studio. Using Mentor Graphics simulation tools from third party design environment can be also supported by the WiCkeD.
