EDAA lifetime Achievement Award for MunEDA Advisory Board Prof. Kurt Antreich

Prof. Kurt Antreich, head of Institute of Electronic Design Automation of Technical University of Munich, was honoured with the EDAA Lifetime Achievement Award
MunEDA today announced that the award on Prof. Kurt Antreich was presented by Peter Marwedel of University Dortmund, Chairman of EDAA, in an official ceremony at the official opening plenary of DATE03 in Munich. The lifetime achievement award is given to individuals who made outstanding contributions to the state of the art in electronic design, electronic design automation and testing of electronic systems in their life.
MunEDA´s Co-Founder and Advisory Board Member Prof. Dr. Kurt Antreich has been Professor and head of the Institute of Electronic Design Automation at the Technical University of Munich, Germany, since 1975. His research led to more than 300 publications and resulted in many significant applications in industry. He received many national honors and was a best paper candidate of the ACM/IEEE Design Automation Conference in 1993 and 1995, respectively.
