 MunEDA extends licensing agreement with Altera

MunEDA announced today, Altera Corporation has signed a long-term licensing agreement for MunEDA´s leading–edge DFY tool suite WiCkeDTM for interactive and fully automatic analysis, modelling and optimization of integrated analog, mixed-signal & digital circuits and IP libraries. Altera is using WiCkeD in their design and library development groups worldwide to enhance design efficiency and productivity as well as product yield and reliability.
"Since we started using WiCkeD in circuit design two years ago, we achieved significant improvements of design efficiency, quality and yield in many projects like our Stratix and Cyclone FPGA series," stated Eugene Chen, director of CAD and systems administration at Altera. "The capabilities of MunEDA’s EDA software tools for analysis, modelling and optimization are key to meeting our customers’ demand for performance and quality. Furthermore, we benefit from the experienced technical support that MunEDA delivers."
