MunEDA presents new release 5.2 of its outstanding design analysis and optimization tool suite WiCkeDTM

MunEDA has released the latest version 5.2 of its outstanding and industry best-in-class tool suite WiCkeD for design performance and yield analysis and optimization. Numerous improvements in functionality and usability can be found in the new version.
Main improvements cover detailed log-files for all optimizers, a re-organized result display in worst-case operation node, and confidence intervals for parameter influence that is speeding up Monte Carlo Analysis. Furthermore there is a new option to check all operating corners in the design and a better load balancing for simulation servers.
Dr. Frank Schenkel, Vice President Research & Development of MunEDA: "With the new version 5.2 there is another large milestone reached. It is now possible to support the parsing of net lists of large designs. These are designs with more than 1000 single devices. Additionally we have implemented an auto synchronisation of simulation data & design history as well as improved scrolling of tables. These features and also the functionality to call applications in simulation sub-directory are direct answers to our user’s feedback and improvements in usability."
All main features in WiCkeD Version 5.2 will be presented at MunEDA User Group Meeting in September 25/26 in Munich as well as shipped to the customers from then.
