Chungbuk Technopark (CBTP) Korea selects MunEDA WiCkeD

Chungbuk Technopark SoC R&D Center (CBTP) Korea has closed a long-term licensing agreement with MunEDA regarding the MunEDA tool suite WiCkeDTM. CBTP will use MunEDA´s leading-edge design analysis and optimization tools for their advanced development of Analog, RF and Mixed Signal circuits and devices as well as for characterization of process technology influences.
"CBTP SoC R&D Center will use MunEDA´s WiCkeD tools to further enhance our IC design and development flow of high-end analog, mixed-signal and RF circuits and IP. As we have seen WiCkeD can bring design efficiency improvements of factor 10-100 and more and quality improvements of up to 95%," stated Jongsung Lim, President of Chungbuk Technopark Foundation and Dr. Joosock Lee on behalf of CBTP SoC R&D Center. "MunEDA´s tools are very much established in the Korean IC design and SoC industry with leading companies using it in their productive IC design flows."
